Pillory as a composition is a bit shaky, though I certainly love the mellotron "solo".

I finally watched this documentary a couple of days ago. I was disappointed to be honest. It was much more of a history report on the mellotron and less of a documentary (which made it quite boring.) I understand what the "ecstatic truth" wasbehind the documentary (the mellotron is a prized instrument that isgoing extinct, digital technology is taking over analog and it's ashame, the mellotron used to be this exclusive thing that was veryspecial and now anyone can/and does put mellotron sounds on theiralbums with the computer and it's sort of just a trendy thing now, etc.) but they weren't the main focuses of the documentary and they gotreally caught up with the whole "Well the m-300 differs from the m-400because the m-400 was smaller, etc, etc, etc" (technical crap that you can find on a wikipedia page...) Also there was BARELY anymusic. They sampled some Moody Blues and some Genesis andthat's about it. Still cool to see guys from a bunch of my favoritebands: Opeth, King Crimson, Änglagård (Mattias Olsson is sort of a strange guy haha), The Zombies, Yes, Genesis, The Moody Blues, etc.
