No, he was too busy running around like a madman yelling "you're gonna be stars" to the Velvet Underground. BTW, Nico wasn't at that session. I did get to talk to one of the guitarists about their equipment though. He had a Vox Super Beatle and the bass player had the same Vox that McCartney. They got them free from Vox and had to have the speakers replaced every week. The other guitarist used a Silvertone amp with 2-12" speakers.
