The stuff I used to use could be put in a small cup, catalyzed and it would bounce like a rubber ball.
Excellent stuff, and still is.

No, don't think so.  We have epoxy.  It's the paint used in bathrooms and kitchens for the furniture as it resists most everything and has a pleasing satin finish.
