Re: [newmellotrongroup] A fresh one from yesterday.

Yes- I know exactly how it is – we of the two albums in 30 years. Glacial speed fussbudgets.

Hey hey,

We have recorded an old (think of it as NOS) song...which will be released soon...

A while back I described the band as a slug on valium...Then I sobered up and felt horrible for a while and then I realized it isnt exactly untrue. Everything moves so slow...And not in a cool sexy way but in a really annoyin-in-the-end-who-fucking-cares kind of a way. They recorded and rerecorded the same piano line 4 times on three different pianos. I think the ambition is right but the energy is somewhat misplaced sometimes...This is of course only my opinion...I am probably terribly wrong...

Can you hear the difference in the end...who knows ? When you hear the track...you decide.

Theres bucketloads of Mellotron on it though.

3 Violins
Wineglasses
Cello
Chamberlin Flute
Eight voice choir
Boys Choir
Tubular Bells
Vibes
Chamberlin solo female voice

And in the dirty soiled Mellotron backseat...

Orchestron Cello
Optigan Guitars

So...wait a year or two and itll be released...Its finished and mixed (and remixed once)
