Sorry, not looking to piss anybody off but reading some of thesethreads
is like listening to car mechanics complain about contemporary art (my
apologies to car mechanics). Everything here is subjective and done in
hindsight. I'm not sure that most people can understand anything about
prog rock without the aid of acid-it seemed to help many of mycolleagues
in any case.
I lived through reading reviews panning prog rock in preference to
Springstine and Van Morrison.
I love Anderson's lyrics and Gabriels lyrics and Sinfield"s lyrics onthe
first four Crimson albums.
I love Peter Hamill's lyrics. I love Mike Pinder's mellotron work and
don't care how unfashionable it is to say so. I hate this thread. If you
don't get it you don't get it but no need to tear it down.
