Who brought up Topographic Oceans again? Oh...It was me. Regrets I've had a few.

When they appeared in Toronto during the Topographic Oceans tour, the album had not been released yet. The radio stations didn't even have it. I think that most of the North American tour dates took place before the album had been heard by the audience. They opened the show playing ALL of it. :-(

When they finally stopped playing, most of the audience was too sleepy to clap. You know how people sometimes nod-off in Church? That was the only concert I've seen where people were bobbing their heads drifting off to sleep. Since that night I have always associated the Topographic Oceans album with being bored out of my mind.
