already posted this news.
Paul Kopecky, drummer from the prog trio Kopecky, died Monday. He
was 37. Kopecky (the band) had released several albums in the past
decade and performed at numerous prog festivals. In the band, Paul
was joined by his brother William on bass and Joe on guitar.

My comment: This was an amazingingly talented trio. I always thought
it was height of coolness for these three brothers to be able to play
in the same band and make such interesting music together. With all
the hoo-hah over the departure of the King of Pop the death of Paul
Kopecky is just a momentary blip on the radar. But I really liked his
band and am floored by the news. To leave this planet at 37 years old
with so much more to do in life and to offer artistically is tragic.
RIP Paul. I'm going to spin some of your music now.
