Subject: key tension adjustment

Over the past 9 years I have only touched the key tension nuts to add tension to fix a few sticky keys. Last week I adjusted them all from scratch. All 35 nuts needed at least 1 and 1/2 turns before the keys dropped from the height bar. I gave them all about a 1/4 turn to bring them up to the bar, then another 1/4 turn of tension.
If you do the math, I was roughly one full turn too heavy on the tension. I adjusted the pads and rollers as well, following Martin's directions for "fast action". (<--There's potential for a joke here!)
The keyboard has a effortless feel now. I get a nice soft "clunk" sound from all the keys when they hit bottom and they all feel the same.
