There you go making assumptions again. Kind of how you assumed that you can google a bunch of information about BiroTron keyboard action. Look Dave, it was a cool concept that few people care to argue about. Very ingenious machine. Now why don't you stop being so defensive? Thou dost protest too much, and thou art becoming annoying.

This is a MELLOTRON LIST!!! We can discuss BiroTrons, but we can only argue about Mellotrons, Scotch and beer (and that doesn't include comparing Mellotrons to BiroTrons. I personally hereby raise your arm in victory and agree that BiroTrons had great keyboards. As I recall, Edsels had really comfortable seats.

Please go start a BiroTron group. Then those that wish to can all sign up and argue which of the 13 BiroTrons had the best keyboard action. Too bad about the production BiroTrons having vertical cassettes and all.

I have found that one can set out a nice lunch on top of a Mellotron. Try that on a BiroTron.

When I said "a Birotron in a Mellotron (repair)shop is faster than the mellotron sitting next to it, I assumed that most people would consider that the mellotron would also be in for repair and would also be of a similar vintage.
