Damn right, things have improved. M4000s feel wonderful and a rejigged M400 keyboard is a different beast entirely, much faster and lighter than the standard geometry. I've played some fairly squidgy Pratt-Read boards, generally the more linkage the key has to pull the greater the amount of drag on the key. 3-buss ARP Odysseys spring to mind. A nice one is a lovely board and some offer a certain amount of scope for fine adjustment.
Has anybody out there got a broken UK plastic-key Vox Continental II that's in the way?
Love and Scones,
msw xx

And STILL I cant imagine that the keyboard action could be anything less than 1000% faster than the Mellotron sitting next to it.
You'd be surprised at how things have improved!
