They were named in response to the "sad strings"...sort of. Those who know me know I'm innately cute and cuddly but like most musicians I am angry on the inside. It also took me four attempts at recording a new string patch for the tron before I finally got something remotely usable. That exercise is enough to make anyone ill tempered :>)

Pardon my ignorance, but what makes the "angry strings" angry? To my, admittedly, tin ears, they sound rather cute and cuddly in this example. I would've thought that angry strings should be a strongly bowed, rather harsh sound.
