I have no problem whatsover with that comment; it was taken in the spirit of this list. It just appeared that a list member was viewing this "poll" as something scientific rather than fun and I interpreted that as perhaps unneccesarily critical and somewhat anal-retentive. The intent behind my response was in a Dicksonian vein, and I thought the member's response was somewhat over the top. Eye of the beholder, and I happen to be the beholder in this case. I did privately email this person and conclude, by his ill-informed response, IMHO, that he is a fucking asshole.
P.S. - I'll keep the guard dogs hungry.
