| It's the sound of the M300 played live, Barclay James Harvest Live pretty much captures it. I understand that some of the tron parts were overdubbed later in the studio as the tron broke down during the concert, so it was presumably possible to duplicate the sound in the studio. However I don't find the tron sound on the studio BJH albums very interesting nor the albums themselves if truth be told. I think Woolly uses the Mark II 3 violins in the studio these days but uses the M300 violins live, however if his live album is anything to go by, to my ears at least they sound awful. Mark PS I think I might just have an M300 violins obsession, I wonder if there is a medical term for it? --- On Fri, 2/27/09, john barrick <astroboy@cinci.rr.com> wrote:From: john barrick <astroboy@cinci.rr.com> |
