Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] way OT

Hi Jon:

The best way to make sure the contents don't get damaged is to package the item inside a wooden box, and then to "float" that box with lots of styrofoam / insulation inside a much larger box.

This way the outer box takes the brunt of all the banging and the inside box does not incurr the any of the impact.

Subject: [newmellotrongroup] way OT, but this is the best place

I need to ship something in the same size and fragility range as an M400 from Kansas to Italy. Can anybody offer any suggestions, advice, warnings, anything to set me on the right path to succeed at this task?
