I have an old, non-working Taurus II unit and it is anoctave and a half. The original Taurus was only one octave.

I don't see any info about the number of pedals. Ithink the
originals had 13 pedals with a 5 octave range. Unless the pedals are
really tiny, I think 18 pedals would make the new Taurus a little too
wide.
