Didn't get to jam, but he was on my radio programme just over a year ago, with Eugene Chadbourne. Jimmy drummed on a telephone directory and sang, while Eugene played banjo and sang. A wonderful time that I'd hoped could be repeated someday. Sadly not to be. He was a down-to-earth charmer.
