Aren't we up late?!
Gotta read these things more closely.... (boot to the head)
Thanks, Frank, for the clarification letter.

Hi all-

Perhaps it is a linear taper.  During repair I measured the resistance change as I turned the control, and seem to remember it as acting like a log-taper pot.  Memories are a funny thing, though, and I'm probably wrong.  But, a linear-taper pot might be easier to find in an electronics shop parts bin.

     Thanks-

log would be the same as audio taper.
