Now that was pretty neat! I would say that performance was definitely not listless...not to mention the obvious choice between the two, aesthetically.
Also, give me real strings over whatever that simply-not-related-to-mellotron-at-all-ever sound was coming from our scraggly progsters. Yeeesh. I'm going to chalk that one up to a post I wrote months back about 60's groups' seemingly uncanny ability to forget what it was that made them cool.
There's lots of that about, nowadays, I'm afraid...
