Hi guys,

My M400 # 126 has been behaving somewhat strange the last couple of days;

After the warmup ( she still has a CMC 4 card,runs pretty stable ),she'll play fine,no probs.Sometimes,however,after some time,there'll be a 'fade out' of direct signal and at the same time a 'fade in' of noise.The direct sound remains at low level,the noise at high level.Any idea hat could cause this?A preamp issue or something with the output stage?

The machine has been restored recently, a great job,also fixed the headblock to preamp lead issue,which I believe is one of the possible reasons for the behaviour mentioned above.

The only thing I can think of is that it maybe has something to do with my swell pedal,had that refitted with a new pot recently.

Any ideas?
