thanks frank - i really appreciate it!
i did manage to get the screw loosened.
i JUST finished lacing the frame.
only one mishap - a tape slipped out of my fingers and jumped
back down inside... the hazard of going alone...
i HAD 2 perfect screwdrivers.
one of them jumped out of the slot on me and the tip broke.
the other one is a bit shorter and not as comfortable :(
once i got rolling on lacing tapes it went quite well.
took about 3 hours, including rolling the old tapes back on
spools and one break to sit down and let the back chill.
but my back right now... oh man...
and i have a 3 hour drive to do tomorrow...
time for a couple shots of maker's mark and bed...
thanks again frank!
enjoy your weekend folks...
i'm of to a place with no cell reception, no computer, no tv...
just excessive alcohol and floating around in a pool...
