Subject: Re: Your favorite Mellotron song...?

Hi all-

I have a few favorites.

The end of "Catherine Howard" on Wakeman's "Six Wives
of Hank the 8th". Great transition from strings to
flute.

"My Song" on the Moodies' EGBDF.

"Out & In" on the Moodies' TOCCC.

"Epitaph" on "In the Court of the Crimson King"

"Criminal" by Fiona Apple. I have a copy of a live
performance she made in a local radio station.
Whereas the studio recording used Chamby flutes at the
end of the song, the live recording ended up with
Chamby choir voices. Really a bit eerie. Loved both
recordings.
