John, the Blues Junior is great, but consider a Polytone Mini Brute IV for your Mellotron.  They show up on eBay from time to time and a good one can be purchased for about $350.

A twin reverb is more amp than I'm ever gonna need, as I have no intention of ever playing live again.  In fact, my blues jr. is more amp than I really need, but I love the thing.  Ideally, I'd love to have a princeton reverb.  Now I just need to get a cleaner amp for #1407...

I had a couple of SRO-15's in my stage bass cabinet way back when. They're killer speakers. My main guitar amp now is a Deluxe Reverb reissue. For home use, it's a perfect all-around amp. My other home guitar amp is a Marshall DSL5C with a whopping 5 watts of power that is switchable down to 1 watt if the neighbors complain. Currently looking for a new home bass amp.
