The synth area at NAMM was crammed with a lot young cottage makers and old-timers. Lots of neat stuff and some interesting innovations.

There is a rumour that Waldorf are going to bring a mellotron sample play back unit in the same format as the the Striechfett, as I already have M-tron pro and the Streetly expansion pack I wouldn't be interested myself but I could see it as a challenge to the M4000 D and the memotron particularly if it is at the same price point as the Striechfett or Rocket.


Off topic the keyboard that really does excite me is the Korg Minilogue which looks like it will be a modern minimoog.
