carla bley played mellotron on that 1975 tour

and tony hymas on the HOW'S TRICKS? album and tour as far as I know...???
the man was truly amazing...so many side bands/projects/styles etc.....I was lucky to have seen him...

Jack's BBC recordings feature some substantial mellotron in spots.

When people describe him as "the bassist in Cream" it's like describing Einstein as "this guy who taught at Princeton."

He was a really well-rounded musician and composer, and his post-Cream work has many high points and is well worth exploring.
