Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: The Mellotron Group

I will never forget walking into my local music store in the late 70's, and seeing a used mellotron. I still remember what it felt like to press those keys for the first time and hearing the string sound from so many albums that I loved (still love). I visited it every week after my guitar lesson until it finally sold. I love the sounds of my M-Tron Pro, but it will never recreate that experience.
