P.S. There is a TARDIS 30 minutes due south in Clinton, FYI. And then there is one up and over in Moline. There are several in Chicago-area. Oh and way down in Metropolis, IL is another TARDIS. ;)-----Original Message-----

Interestingly, I just sold M400S #500 for $4000 and I sold it without forcing the buyer into accepting the tapes that I wanted him to select. Was it a "stripped" machine because it was rebuilt from the ground up and refinished with other than the original finish? Was I "crying" about how it really is worth $4000? Somehow, I think Rich was referring to me in all this. I wish he was still part of this group so he could see just what a fool he really is.
BTW, the buyer of my M400S is just a kid who already owns an M4000D and really wanted a real Mellotron, and he did select a frame for an additional amount of money, so I guess he got just what he wanted and I got what I wanted. I'm really happy that someone so young sees the value in the real thing.
I'm guessing Rich has never played a real Mellotron and is probably jealous of anyone who has, so he had to resort to throwing his childish tantrum. I would also be willing to bet that he's never even set foot in a real recording studio (outside of his bedroom) and couldn't possibly understand the feeling of playing with real musicians playing real instruments in a real studio. As for me, I will continue to enjoy my M4000 for more than 10 minutes. Looking forward to the second M4000 that is replacing my M400S, yet isn't worth what I'm paying for it, to arrive.
Rich, if you're still out there, you just made a fool of yourself in front of the entire Mellotron community. How does that make you feel?
