Looks like a good, simple solution.  For carrying comfort and security, I might beef those handles up a bit.

Personally, I think I'd build my own flight case - plywood, foam, extruded aluminum edging, and misc. hardware, but I tend to over-complicate matters.

        Here is a lightweight option for carrying the Mellotron 4000D. It is home made and is just that, an option. It is extremely light, a couple lbs., easy to make with 1" firm foam liner almost all around. See attachment.
