Regarding the appearance…
The natural wooden finish is a strikingly beautiful contrast to the standard white painted Mellotron M400s. The woodwork is solid, clean and generally very good with a few marks.
What comes with it…
Comes complete with the Original Owner's Manual and 'Protecta-Muff' soft padded flight case plus Mains Lead.

About this Mellotron M400
Superb condition with some slight wear.
This particular Mellotron 400 has been kept in a comfortable temperature controlled environment for about 23 years and today it plays very well just like it did when it was restored and better than many other original Mellotron M400s.
Manufactured between 1970-1986 and made under licence by EMI. The 1st owner from Wales bought it new from Chappells in London in the 1980s. The current 2nd owner bought the Mellotron M400 from the 1st owner in the early 1990s and had it fully restored in 2007 by Streetly Electronics who replaced the electronics and unreliable components making this restored Mellotron likely far better than the original. The tapes in the tape rack were also fully replaced with Choirs & Strings as the present owner is a big fan of Genesis and Prog Rock.
Unusually rare!
It is unlikely to ever see another one of these come up for sale as there were only 100 ever built of this particular model of Mellotron M400.

Currently based at a UK address in Glastonbury, Somerset. Collection in person preferred however if necessary it can be shipped to another UK address at an additional cost. Final delivery price to be confirmed once the destination is known.
