November, 1969... Sitting in the mud at the West Palm Beach Pop Festival... An unknown British band named King Crimson takes the stage... They open with "In the Court of the Crimson King".  

The first notes of a Mellotron I ever heard was maybe the most powerful D chord I had ever heard in my life.
