The email below bounces back. Is that the correct address?

I did open it up and the tape is jammed and wrapped around the front roller. I am very afraid to turn the roller. I have pictures.  

Welcome to cycling machines, I guess. Just wish it didn't happen in front of my wife. LOL.

As a fellow M300 owner (but this applies to MkIIs as well) I'd advise making sure the tape isn't wrapped around anything else before you do anything. Take the keyboard out and maybe the front pin rail as well to expose the whole tape path and have a good look. Then undo the clutch and gently wind it back, unraveling any tape as you go. Did you find out what the squeak was? Usually loud squeaks are associated with tape mishaps jamming the cycling mechanism and stretched tape!!
