Subject: RE: [newmellotrongroup] roller oil- suggestions please

Hi James!

What I did with #920 is remove the offending pinchrollers from the keys and first clean it with one of these cans containing compressed air, then carefully spraying some WD40 on both pins of the roller. Then remove and clean
all remaining WD40 ( as Frank S. rightly mentioned ).
It seems to work so far!

I cleaned the rest of the machine with surgical alcohol / isopropyl and air cans. That is all except the pinchrollers;said in previous posts, bit careful with exposing them to alcohol,
although it turns out that I needn't have worried.

Martin also mentioned re-adjusting the angle of the pressurepads recently, which seems like the next step for #920,with that lurvely Streetly tapeframe in her : )

Cheers,H

So... I should use alcohol on the rollers.OK that sounds like a great
place to start on #872. What kind of oil is best and what's the best
method for cleaning out insect droppings and decades old lager spills?
