Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] Any pictures of the 5000 yet?

Mel doesn't ever demand anything. When he want's something badly he's more like an incessant whiner... he makes this irritating noise, over and over until I give in or unplug his mains.

Congrats Frank!

But one thing:

Isn't Mel demanding that you and Karen make room under the stairs for yourselves and not him? :)

That would really have been something. A good move for you guys, Martin. The world economy being what it is, this is no time for prototyping. You guys do great stuff to keep us all going and you make a great machine... the M4000. Mine has never failed to do what it's supposed to do... and it's three and a half years old. It does misbehave now and again, but only to remind me what it is. The cycling has always worked properly and though a tape might stick on occasion, that usually is a function of environment.

After three years, it is due for some attention, but it will wait until May. I'm moving soon and it and the rest of my keyboards and equipment will no longer reside my the basement. Instead, all will be in family room #2 which will be environmentally superior to the current location. Mel, soon to return from his "spiritual" visit with Kyozan Joshu Sasaki, has asked for his own room. Karen and I have decided to accommodate him and will prepare space under the stairs just off family room #2.

Also. (Sound the trumpets) I will have a new shop that is 50% larger than the old one and completely above ground.

AND NO MORTGAGE.

ha!

Frank.

Is that a reference to our proposed M5000? at the moment it is permanently on hold as we have M4000 orders to last a while and no time for development. Best laid plans and all..........
