I hope everyone got off as easy as we did. Power went out about 8:00 pm and came back on about 1:30 am. My wife walked around the neighborhood this morning and didn't see any real damage. Worst was an uprooted tree.

What a nightmare, and for a change, it turned out to be "as promised." With a sister in Quogue, Long Island, very near rhe water, and another with a very angry Lake Michigan (& 25' waves!) literally as her back yard, I've been watching Sandy with the highest interest. And with so many of you in her path as well, just know we hope all's gone okay for you. Please post as you can, and let us know, eh? Like... when the power's back up?
