Yes, I was never a great fan of the Moody Blues, didn't hear a lot of there music till quite recently, still not a fan but can't argue with the fact that Mike Pinder was a master of the mellotron. Woolly and Mike Pinder were head and shoulders above everyone else in my opinion.

I suppose Mocking Bird and She Said would still be my favourites, but if the BBC hadn't wiped the tape of BJH doing "The Poet" for John Peel with mellotron and recorder, I think that might be the one, it's over 40 years since I heard it, so can't be sure.
