We can all offer our opinions and are they entertaining but unless we are fully briefed, it's kind of like spitting n the wind. The Nords are wonderful.

Looking at you list I might go Crumar organ Midi that and or a Noed G to a Roland or Korg classic software, on a laptop or VSt versions on a Muse. Set of new Taurus or new Crumar Pedals,  a Modern Poly Prophet or Jupiter. A modern Mono little Phatty or Mopho ( Phatty has an arpegiattor that will do what the pro one sequencer did). Or you can get a workstation.

Hey Andy,

You might want to take a look at the Kurzweil PC-3 line.  The new firmware has the organs sounding great, the pianos

are, well, Kurzweil (outstanding), and other synth stuff, even analog type stuff is quite good (even Mellotron sounds).

Nord has some great all-purpose keyboards as well!  Try them out and see what works for you…..

Subject: [newmellotrongroup] OT modern synth recommendations

Dear all

It looks like I'll be playing abroad later this year, without being able to
take my regular rig (Jupiter-8, Taurus pedals, generic fake Hammond and
piano). I'm hoping to be able to use my Pro-One (which will fit in a
suitcase) to fake the Taurus and a mono synth patch I need, but I'll have to
hire something locally to cover everything else, i.e. overdriven Hammond,
piano and synth strings. I'm almost entirely ignorant of modern synths, so
does anyone have any recommendations for something I can ask for? Assuming I
get any choice, that is :-)

Many thanks in advance,

Andy T.
