It was a memorable weekend on many levels.

I had a chance to meet the members of and to work closely with Gösta Berlings Saga while at NEARfest this year. I shot this video on my phone (it still feels weird to write or say this) while working back stage. I uploaded it in High Def to You Tube.

I have posted it here because it features our friend and fellow Mellotron enthusiast Mattias Olsson and the recently restored #1541 which had been featured in the Änglagård set the day before. This song is both hypnotic and crazy. For those of you that have never seen him perform, let me tell you that Mattias is an amazingly talented musician and performer. Not only is he, in my opinion and that of nearly everyone who has seen his performances, a world class drummer, he's a terrific performer with a magnetic stage presence. He's also really fun to hang with and is the only person I've been around in the last 4 years who I wished I could have had a drink or five with (I did not).

SO if you have a few minutes, give it a look. The last 3 or 4 minutes is nuts.
