i am very pleased with my electro 3, although the sample memory is only 68 you can use it nearly 10 to 11 mellotron sounds, the looped versions which sound decent enough. Its a great all around instrument

ps: the unlooped versions are not that different,no blending though

I played an Electro 3 recently, has a very nice action, good organ and piano sounds, somebody had wiped the mellotron sounds. I think my next keyboard will either be an electro 4 or a Kurzweil PC3K8, if I don't build a spinet, buy a harpsichord, buy a harmonium, build a porative organ or restore my tron!

I have been looking at the Ikea Nord Electro 4D. (Viking red!)

A very good B3, Vox Continental, Farfisa simulator but it still only has 68 MB of flash memory for samples. Is that really a problem? If I can have two or three mellotron voices loaded at once, I'm happy. Any of you guys using an Electro 3?
