Thanks Tom. This was the Mellotron used on Freddy Fender's "Wasted Days & Wasted Nights".

Let's make it a point of getting together ar FarFest at least a drink.  I should let the FF guys know that if they need some vintage 70's performance synths we may be able to help.  Between Jeff and I we have a lot. Not a workstation between us.

Someone needs to contact me. Here are photos of the just completed one, taken at dawn.

And this is a photo of keyboard assembly. I'm dressing out the keys and putting them in place. No pressure pads yet. This was Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. No windows in the shop.

Nice Mellotron work at NearFest Apocalypse by Frank Stickle.  The instruments looked and sounded beautiful.

I did notice that two M400s sounded much better than the M-Faux-K.  I actually could tell the difference and I was surprised because ROMplers tend to be stage efficient.  Not the case at all this time.

It truly is a fact: there is no real substitute for a real Mellotron - Novatron

Sorry we couldn't meet up Frank everybody was talking to everybody else, socializing etc...

They are going to need Mellotrons at Farfest, my next festival. The lineup is out of teenage dreams.
