Wish I could get to hear it. Did Woolly ask for the M300b strings? I think in recent years he used the 3 violins in the studio and the m300 violins live. Or was that the other way round?

PS Obession warning, ignore this bit
When Woolly left BJH I don't think the M300 went with him, post BJH he used the M400 and I don't think the tron sound was ever the same. The mellotron sound that I am obsessed with is the M300 violin sound played live on an M300, the BJH live album from 74 gives a good example of this, I didn't particularly like the BJH studio tron sound.
Of interest to me anyway is that the M300 broke down whilst they were recording the live album and some of the tron parts were over dubbed in the studio later, I can't tell which, so they could get that sound in the studio.
Does anyone know or care which tracks were overdubbed?
Ah, thats better, I think I'll have a lie down now.

Streetly tape frame will be 3V's, IM Flute and M300 B Strings. It's the tape frame that was laced-up for Woolly Wolstenholme but never used.
