Oh man!  If I could be a jazz pianist, it would be Monk! Nobody, before or since, can solo like him. I would have loved to have heard him collaborate with say, Richard D James.

I like both....

My interest in progressive rock and other pop groups in the 70's, directly and indirectly influenced me to become interested in jazz music.  Thelonious Monk is one of my favorites.
