Of course having the two keyboards of sounds at your disposal must add some heft to the sound. It’s a beautifully restored
machine and I am sure you get a lot of use out of it. Have fun with it. I look forward to your new and possibly redone older pieces with the new equipment.
Cheers,
Gary

I don't know about 'more powerful', but it lacks that top end excess that my occasionally over-bright M400 has. Martin explained to me today that the pre-amp is to blame for that. The Mk V has a sweetness of tone to it that is quite disarmingly beautiful, plus the tone control actually does something all the way around, something that the M400 didn't really do all that well. Of course you can atone for the M400's issues with judicious EQ but the Mk V handles it all on its own really well.
