Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] OT.. Otari MX5050 help needed...Your local rubber belt suppliers should pich a pinch roller relapping service, They tend to be poly rather than rubber. as long as you have a good bearing sleeve they can make them up for not very much.On Fri, Feb 24, 2012 at 6:00 AM, Mark Wallis <markstuartwallis@hotmail.com> wrote:Hi folks...
I desperately need a new pinch roller or even just a grindable rubber sleeve for a 1/2" 8-track OTARI MX5050. The old one has turned to cheese. The centre/bearing is perfectly good.
Can anyone help here? The machine is otherwise fine now.. but I can't finish the job -and get paid- without a new roller. The owner would really like his machine back. I'd really like to get paid and get the sodding thing off my bench and out of my sight forever.
