Did they really still play small pubs in the 70's, I remember seeing them in the early 70's and they sold out the Free Trade Hall in Manchester. Now Barclay James Harvest were still playing small clubs in the early 70's, saw them at Rafters in Machester, sat so close to Woolly's M300 I could have touched it.

He also used a Fender Rhodes 73/88, an adjustable model which came in handy when they had to play small pubs on their mid-70s tours.

His favourite instrument was an Arp Quadra Pro Soloist Eminent Solina String Ensemble, and not the Yamaha EX1/GX1 or the Fairlight Series I / Series II / Series IIx like some people presume.

After Rick passed away a few years ago, some actor in LA bought all Rick's instruments because they were so rare and vintage. ;-)
