Here's my volley back..

Rarely do I use ANY processing on my tron with the exception of EQ and compression, so I am uncommon that way. No verb, no delay etc.  Once I rebuild my 122 I'll dump it through that and the nice hot output of the tron will overdrive the Leslie nicely.

Hate is such an ugly word.  It may sound very near to a tron, but it most certainly will not feel like one...ever. For me, part of the process of making music is the process of playing music.  Playing, playing, playing!!!

In a live or studio mix you would never hear the difference especially after the reverb and
other processing that is commonly used on Mellotron tracks.  It will almost certainly out
sell the tape machines but most on this list will hate it no matter what it sounds like.

I hadn't seen this before, I think I can just tell the difference between the M4000D and the Mark VI. I don't suppose anybody on the list has been tempted?
