What kind of hardware reverb do you use?  I am gearing up for a 4 day FOH gig at a festival in Reno, NV with various acts

and I am contemplating on taking the Waves MultiRack set up instead of my usual outboard gear.  I am finding

that the state of the VST effects have reached a level where they stand up quite well with the best of hardware

FX once you get used to them.  I have been using this borrowed Waves rig on some recordings and thought this would be

a good time for a live test.  I will still bring some hardware for monitor processing, etc., just to be safe.  The reverbs

in the waves inventory are exceptional and I have even heard some lower priced plugins that sound quite nice as well.

Some of the early plugins I tried were horrible so it was a while before I went back to give them a serious look.

You might want to try some with your M-tron or Mellotron and see what you think.

I was trying to create a particular atmosphere and the m-tron sound is closer to it, this is probably because I find software reverb easier to use than hardware and because my hardware reverb isn't very good!
