You see, John... if members are not sensitive enough to realize that there are people on these forums who may take exception to certain political and religious opinions, then someone (the Moderator) has to police it.

This is done not to restrict your freedom of speech, but to keep the list focused on its topic. In this case: Mellotrons.

There are many political and religious forums where these discussions are welcomed. Just not a musical instrument forum.

Language - Anything goes. (If you don't like this rule, fuck off.)

There are two things that we do not tolerate: Intolerance and stupidity.

Any messages that are hostile towards people of differing race, religion, nationality or sexual orientation will be deleted and the author will be kicked out of the group.

I don't want to restrict people from expressing their opinions or making jokes. Try to keep the political commentary off the list. If it gets too stupid, I will boot you out.

With all of the comedy and extreme stupidity in American polit ics, I find it difficult myself to hold back political comments... but I do hold back.
