Tom, this may surprise you but people still use them on recordings. Mellotrons are experiencing renewed popularity. Would you like to own a fully restored one? I can offer you an exceptional example.

The songs were '200 light yrs from home", and most of the songs on "days of future passed' (except nights in white satin, which I am sick of); pr'haps a few others.
