Mike, examples of where the Streetly tape library mentions explicit improvements to the original sounds... (not that I'm saying these don't sound like improvements - but if purists are going to carp about any remastering of the M4000D sounds...)
∗∗Boy's Choir
...this sound was often much maligned due to its rather inferior sound quality. However, subsequent finds have unearthed a far earlier generation copy of the same sound which offers a substantial improvement
∗∗MkII Flute
For some time, this sound has been made available on a rather poor recording which features all manner of drop-outs and bias pops. Now, with the discovery of a far earlier generation copy of the same sound, Streetly Electronics can now offer a Mk II flute that is as yet unsurpassed anywhere in terms of clarity and strength.
