There were wonderful blues players, but sadly, most of them are in the past and the rest are soon going to be.  Buddy Guy is a real standout for me.  His influence on a generation of rock guitarists is legendary (but real).

Listen to David Gilmour or Jimi Hendrix…..I certainly hear the blue’s influence there…….
