Quite right Mike,
It is the foundation of most rock music and while it can be repetitive the art is in how it’s played and the individual
personality projected by the player. Yes, blues jams can be boring at times but I think there’s more there that meets
the eye (or ear). ….and I’m not just saying that because I am currently playing in a R&B band….. J (or am I ?)
Listen to David Gilmour or Jimi Hendrix…..I certainly hear the blue’s influence there…….
